Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does the procedure hurt?

The doctor will inject local anesthesia; therefore, the procedure is pretty comfortable with little to no pain.

  • What to prepare before the procedure?

Please refrain from taking any vitamins or supplements 3-5 days prior to your procedure. No alcohol consumption the night before. It is recommended to take some Arnica pills 5-7 days prior to the treatment in order to help with the healing process. If you take any blood thinners, please let someone from the office know to better assist you.

  • What to expect after the procedure?

You can go back to your normal routine. We do not recommend any workout for a couple of days, as well as makeup right after your procedure. Do not massage the treated areas. Please take some Tylenol if needed. Keep taking Arnica pills for about one week after the procedure. The client should expect some swelling, tenderness, and bruising. Also, no laser treatments, facial massages, or dental treatments should be scheduled within two weeks after the procedure.

  • What are the prices?

    • Cheeks area: $899
    • Jaw area: $899
    • Upper Neck: $899
    • Eyebrow lift: $1199
  • Is it safe?

Yes, thread lifts are performed by certified professionals at Dr. Assif Med Spa. We use surgical-grade needles and FDA-approved thread lifts. The sutures are safe, bioabsorbable, and designed to dissolve as time passes.

  • How long does it take?

A thread lift, known as a “lunchtime lift” because it is quick and noninvasive, can take 45 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. Soreness may last up to two weeks afterward. You’ll notice a lift instantly after the sutures have been put in.

  • How long does it last?

Thread lifts stay in place for 4-6 months, and then the sutures start to dissolve. Skin tightening may last up to two years.
